Virtual tours: a real asset for letting and selling property
New technologies are playing an increasingly important role across all sectors, and the property market is no exception. Virtual reality is now being used for property viewings – a technology that is particularly relevant for mountain estate agents.
Virtual reality allows you to tour a property via a screen (computer, tablet, mobile phone, etc.) by ‘moving’ from room to room, whilst being able to view each one in 360°. And for an even more immersive experience, a smartphone can be inserted into a virtual reality headset, allowing the prospective buyer or tenant to feel as though they are actually inside the flat and to see every last detail, simply by turning their head!
This technology therefore offers a real added benefit for clients by enabling them to better understand the floor area of each room whilst fully immersing themselves in the space.
This is something that even the most stunning photos and the most detailed descriptions can never provide.
Furthermore, prospective buyers or tenants generally live far from the valley and may not necessarily be able to travel long distances to view properties.
